We are the Digital Surgery Lab.
We explore digital technologies to advance surgery and biomedicine.

Digital technologies are changing surgical workflows and decision-making processes from diagnosis and prevention, through knowledge organization and hospital management, to the operating theatre. The Digital Surgery Lab drives digital transformation through the evaluation, development and implementation of digital technologies in surgery and biomedicine. It supports the sustainable translation of digital innovations into clinical routines by preparing hospital staff and students for the current and future challenges of digital medicine. In collaboration with the Cluster of Excellence Matters of Activity, it establishes interdisciplinary research practices to bring together the knowledge that hospitals need today to shape the digital transformation.
