Transplantation Research
We drive transformative advances to redefine the future of transplantation.

Transplantation research is advancing rapidly, driven by innovations that span organ preservation, immunomodulation, and regenerative strategies. Our research program focuses on improving graft viability and long-term outcomes through the development of machine perfusion technologies, exploration of mechanisms of allograft rejection, and studies in preclinical models including rat, pig, and mouse transplantation. In addition, we advance the field of vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA) and investigate novel therapeutic strategies such as senolytics and liver defatting approaches to expand the donor organ pool. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, we aim to translate experimental findings into clinical application and shape the future of transplant medicine.
